Christian Audigier is a French Fashion Designer. He is known as “le Vif” (the fast one in English). He made his first marks as a fashion jeans designer working for brands such as Affliction, Lee, Liberto, Naf Naf, Kookai and Diesel.

His real breakthrough came a few years ago, when he put Von Dutch Originals on the map by introducing the idea of pinstripe designs. He made Von Dutch a huge international success during his 3 year association with the brand. In 2004 he left Von Dutch to start his own company. He was granted the exclusive rights to work with the design of Don Ed Hardy.

Within 2 years, he managed to repeat the tremendous success of Von Dutch with the tattoo design of Ed Hardy. From Britney Spears, who was his 1st celebrity client, to Ashton Kutcher, Paris Hilton, Hilary Duff, Justin Timberlake or Madonna to name just a few, Ed Hardy Fashion has been acclaimed by many A-List celebrities. Ed Hardy Jeans retail around £250 in the UK, while the famous T-shirts retail between £100 and £150. The brand can be found in top Department stores and high fashion boutiques. Audigier has since created his own brand (Christian Audigier).
